Our Scholarship and Sponsorship Programs are designed to provide sustainable educational support to needy students. We currently have 50 students under our sponsorship but aim to increase the number as we grow. This idea is inspired by a very touching story from our founder. The late fiancé to our founder was an orphan who lost her dad when she was very young. Her mother struggled to raise financial support for her education until when she got a sponsor who paid her fees up to Senior Four. Much as she loved to further her education to an Advanced level and University, she hurtfully couldn’t as her sponsor died just after the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) had released their examinations. Left with limited options, she joined a local vocational Institute where she graduated with a certificate in Business studies funded by her mother. This story rang bells in our founder’s head and inspired him to develop an idea to start an inclusive program that will sponsor children to study up to the level they want, assist them in bettering their lives, and lift their families and communities. We intend to make investments that will continuously fund our programs to promote sustainability and continuity.

By offering scholarships and financial aid, we aim to help young people achieve their academic goals and break the cycle of poverty. Education is a powerful tool for change, and through these programs, we empower students to pursue their dreams and create a better future for themselves and their families.

Our scholarship and sponsorship programs are set to be unique in the way we select the beneficiaries of this program.  This program is designed to cater for the most vulnerable children in our communities.  Our founder’s ideology is that no child is born dull but rather the limited resources and access to the best facilitate their poor performances in schools.  Some children are living in very poor family backgrounds they can’t provide them with a simple mathematical set and or scientific calculator that are so crucial in the mathematics class. How can these children then perform better than those children in families that are given everything they need?

Some children are living with stepmothers and fathers. These are often mistreated and made to overwork, they start the day by doing heavy work including going to the garden to dig very early in the morning, fetching water from very distant local water supply spots, cleaning the house, and washing utensils before going to school. By the time this poor child finishes all these, it’saround 9-10 Am. But school starts at 8 Am, which means this child has missed the morning lessons. In the evening, the routine continues, this poor child has to return home early to do the same, fetch firewood, go and pick the goats and or cows from the grazing grounds, or even go back to the garden for evening farming, etc. The worst part of all these is that they are often beaten, mistreated, and denied essential basic needs, like food; they cook and serve but are denied eating, proper clothing, school fees, and school requirements, medical care among others. This together with very many more factors the home they are staying in very toxic and unconducive for education. They also lose focus and concentration in their studies hence their poor performance in their studies.

We believe when we put our efforts into creating conducive living environments and creating ample time for these children will encourage them and offer them ample time to read and perform better. We are therefore going to be choosing the most vulnerable children that fall under the story for our support.
